These decorative objects have become an obsession. Cast in solid, heavy Jesmonite plaster, the globe is then dipped into oil paints similar to the marbled paper technique, creating a continuous pattern around the globe. They are then highly polished.

It is lovely as a decorative object and useful as a paperweight. Each one is unique!
