Jan Vrana created The French Tangerine blog in 2011 as a creative outlet for sharing inspiration and quickly gained a considerable following. Through the years the blog has accrued a generous collection of images and perspectives on design, entertaining, art and travel.
After doing a blogpost in 2013 on aptware, a marbleized faience pottery from a small town in France, Jan was lucky enough to meet a highly regarded artisan residing in that region. Finding this elusive vendor and providing access to this highly sought-after product was the impetus to expand from blog to shop in 2015, a natural progression. French pottery
Through the years, Jan has continued to streamline the shop inventory resulting in personally organized collections and one-of-a-kind finds.
