Moroccan Sculptural Candle Holder | Green
Size approx: Extra Large: 14" H × 9" W
Made by hand in the ancient pottery village of Tamegroute in southern Morocco, this sculptural ceramic candle holder is shaped from local clay and finished in a free-form splatter glaze — rich ochre brown applied in an organic, uneven pour that creates a striking contrast against the exposed raw clay beneath. No two pieces are alike. The glaze lands differently on every piece — pooling, dripping, and spreading in its own way — making each one a genuinely unique object.
The sculptural form and organic nature are signature details, handed down through generations of potters in one of Morocco's most celebrated ceramic communities.
Beautiful as a decorative centerpiece, a display piece for dried botanicals, bread, or seasonal styling — this bowl brings raw artisan character to any interior or retail space.
Due to the partially unglazed raw clay finish, these bowls are best suited for dry use — fruit, bread, dried botanicals, or decorative display. Not recommended for liquids or wet foods.
Chips and marks are authentic. Each piece carries the story of the kiln and the fire. The variations in glaze depth, the chips at the rim or base, the asymmetry—these are fingerprints of handmade pottery, not flaws. They prove a Moroccan artisan shaped this by hand and fired it using traditional methods that cannot be replicated by machines.
