Aptware is typically available for special order only, with lead times ranging from 8 weeks to 8 months due to high demand and limited availability. While we occasionally feature select pieces in our shop, most items are made to order directly from artisans in Apt.
Aptware is a beautifully marbleized faience pottery, naturally inspired by the colored soils in Apt, a small town in France. Apt's mixed clay ceramics are world-renowned. I was overjoyed when I came across a skilled artisan residing in that region and discovered she is one of the last remaining masters of this art form. I am thrilled to provide access to this highly specialized and sought-after product. However, it is usually considered aĀ veryĀ special order. Keep in mindĀ the delivery times range anywhere from 8 weeks at certainĀ times of the year to 8 monthsĀ at other times. The images displayed under *Aptware from France* are samples of aptware I have seen when visiting the workshops.Ā Please inquireĀ with any questions! We often feature pieces I purchase while in Apt in the shops. However, most aptware sells very quickly, and keeping any of the traditional aptware in stock is hard.Ā
