Created in 1991 by Sigolène Prébois and Catherine Lévy, the Vase d'Avril is today considered a classic. Indeed, the Musée d'Art Moderne G.Pompidou considered it a marker of its time and included it in its permanent design collection in 1997.
The Vases d'Avril are made in France.
The "Classic" vase is composed of 21 tubes.
6" tall x 30" wide
Zinc becomes dull in contact with water and has a slight grey rust similar to frost. In addition, metal parts are not dishwasher- or paint remover-safe. On the other hand, Les Vases d'Avril appreciates a quick bath with dishwashing liquid.
The Classical April Vase has a spare tube and additional tubes are available separately.
