Antique Blue and White Chestnut Basket A Stevenson Cobridge Staffordshire. Maker mark on bottom reads A Stevenson Warranted Staffordshire. This Chestnut basket depicts the elegant and romantic ruins of Tunbridge Castle in Surrey surrounded by a floral rim and pierced Arcade sides. There is a glaze imperfection on the underside of the foot.
Age: Approx 1800-1849
The chestnut basket is 12" long handle to handle. The bowl is 10 1/4" long, 8 1/8" wide and 3 5/8" deep on the inside. The outer measurements are 3 3/4" high at the rim and 4 1/4" high at the handles.
